Position Summary: This course addresses selected theories and their related educational practices that contribute to the creation and maintenance of an equitable and inclusive school climate, one that respects and affirms the diversity and interdependence of the world's people and cultures as well as the history, cultural heritage and pluralism of Canadian society. 

Successful candidate will work with the course lead and/or team in order to provide consistency across sections. 

Qualifications – Required: Master’s degree in Education; Bachelor of Education and/or K-10 Teaching Certification; Ontario teaching experience with a focus on equity and diversity within the education system (Grades K-6 experience for PJ sections; Grades 4-10 for JI sections); leadership/scholarship in the area of Equity and Diversity in K-10 education

This appointment is in accordance with the Contract Teaching Faculty and Part-time Librarians Collective Agreement, for which the Wilfrid Laurier Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the exclusive bargaining agent.
